Mr. Goop

The first snow of 2011 was a big hit at our house...well at least for Trey and I. Poor Robb was not such a fan, but in his defense he did not have the appropriate outerwear for the event. He loved looking at it, and even walking in it (look at his happy face in picture #1 below) until he fell down. By the time he stood back up he was soaked, cold, and not at all enjoying himself (picture #3). We quickly went back in the house for our first round of drying clothes and hot chocolate.

While Robb was down for his nap, Trey and I went outside to try again. Big success!!!! Trey loved being out in the snow, in fact he did not even want to come back in when I was way, way cold. We threw snowballs, made snow angels, and had a great time being silly in the snow. We also made a snowman, and to let the truth be told it was really my first attempt to be the main person building a snowman. But since Will was out of town on business, it was my time to step up and help Trey build our snowman. Trey named him Mr. Goop, and I think he turned out pretty cute.

PS-Yes, he is wearing latex gloves. They are over his actual gloves that are not water proof. As I said earlier we do not have appropriate outerwear for snow:) It was Gee's idea, and it worked!!!!
